Choose a Keyboard Kit

The keyboard kit is what makes up the keyboard itself - this is necessary to build a keyboard.​

The keyboard kit is what will house the switches, stabilizers, and others parts you choose.

Please look here regarding different keyboard sizes!! There are different mount styles and some of the most common ones are sandwich style, top mount, or tray mount. Please view more information about the different mounting styles here. 

Many keyboard kits are run via what's known as group buys, which are essentially kickstarters. The Group buy runner will organize a group buy and collect all the funds up front, which is then used to manufacture the keyboard for a later date (usually a minimum of 3 months or longer). There are a few in stock or run as a pre-order with shorter lead times, which we will note in our table. 

Finally, most keyboard kits come with a PCB and plate included; you will only need switches, stabilizers, and a keycap set in order to build these. There are some keyboard kits that don't come with a PCB, but those are few and far in between.
